8:41am Accident Franklin EMS/Cullasaja-Gorge VFD
• Accident at 2883 Highlands Road in front of McNeeley's.
8:45am Medical Call Franklin EMS/Franklin VFD
8:57am Fire Alarm Franklin VFD
• An experiment in a science lab in the main building at Franklin High School set off the fire alarm.
9:14am Medical Call Franklin EMS/Otto VFD (fall with injury)
9:36am Hazardous Condition West Macon VFD
• Report of power transformer on fire on Watchman Lane.
9:54am Air Quality Regional Response Team #6 Downtown Franklin
• The regional Hazardous Material Response Team #6 out of Asheville arrived in Franklin to test the air quality in response to a complaint. Local public safety officials have said they cannot release information about the complaint but assured Macon Media there was no danger to the public. Macon Media has contacted state officials for more information. [LINK]
