The 2021 Municipal Elections are tomorrow and here are two videos of the forums held for candidates for Franklin Town Council. Five people are seeking three open seats. Another seat will open up after Vice-Mayor Jack Horton will vacate his seat after he is sworn in as the new Mayor in December.
The polls will be open from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM at the following locations:
• Franklin Town Hall 95 NE Main St, Franklin, NC 28734
• Highlands Civic Center 600 N 4th St. Highlands, NC 28741
This Municipal election is for residents that live in the city limits only.
The Primary election on March 8th 2022 will be for all Macon County residents.
