Leaving Iraq, Restoring America

Leaving Iraq with anything less than defeating the terrorists will be a profound defeat for America, and will establish (re-enforce) the precedent that America has lost the Will to see a conflict through to a logical conclusion, Victory.

The last time we left the battlefield without the final victory was Iraq in 1991. We fulfilled our UN Mandate to remove Iraqi forces from Kuwait, and signed a cease fire not worth the ink the other side used to signify their agreement, and a promise of adherence to the terms.

Twelve years later, and a million dead at the hand of Saddam, we were forced to return and remove Saddam, despite the protestations of the EUroweenies and the boys in powder blue, and their World Socialist Allies. Despite all that, we have worked with the people of Iraq to build their nation into something greater than it was before.

We have returned the Marsh Arabs to their marshes that Saddam drained, water now flowing, and the ecosystem in the process of being restored.

We have brought electricity to places in Iraq that never had it before, built schools, laid the foundation for a successful Iraq. We have introduced an Espirit Des Corps never before seen in an army in that region, save Israel.

When our media elites forced us to leave Vietnam, the forces of darkness descended throughout southeast Asia and killed millions, enslaved tens of millions. They are only now emerging from that dark age. That blood is on the head of every single war protestor's hands, every single media elite, elected official who worked to get us out of Vietnam, and also on the hands of those who didn't fight back to prevent that from happening. That blood is upon us all, even those of us too young, or not yet born.

Now, look at the Middle East. It is perhaps the most important piece of Real Estate on the Entire Planet because of the fuel that lies within easy reach of the surface. We can get it closer to home, but the environmentalists have forbidden it, fearful we might cause harm to a few beasties or flowers (objects of their worship), and cause us to spill the blood of our children to protect their "Holy Pantheon."
How many people will die if we withdraw before completely defeating our enemy in Iraq? Or even being allowed to fight them in areas we have granted them immunity, just like in Vietnam, where the enemy could retire to safety. Always remembering that these enemies will pursue us to our homes and seek our blood here.

I have come to the realization that in order for us to win any future conflict, we must utterly destroy the ideology of Socialism in America as a viable (electable) choice for the American People. This will entail a massive educational program, and is a battle worthy our efforts.

We must restore America to conform to the vision of our Founding Fathers.

After being told point-blank to my face (well, my virtual face online at least) by a typical socialist-liberal that they do not fear a nuclear attack by a terror-group or even a rogue nation (which they acknowledge will likely happen soon), but that they fear instead America's response (nuclear retaliation)....I am forced to agree with you. Anyone who tells me to my face (virtual or not) that they prefer me and my family and my friends and my neighbors to die in nuclear fire than let us retaliate is a threat to myself, my family, my friends, my neighbors, and this country.

I am convinced now more than ever that they are incapable of their own survival - nay, UNWILLING to survive. The problem is they want to drag the rest of us to the grave with them to placate their twisted idealogy that in the end hands the planet over to the forces of darkness. No thanks, I'll go down fighting. And God help them if they get in my way.

  2. Here is a piece found by a local talk jock last year, called "Revolutionary Defeatism," by a blogger out of the UK.

    His new blog is here.

He has been AWOL for about a month from his blog, but I have seen him more recently in a Yahoo! Group and Bulletin Board, I guess if I wrote as profound as he does, my post frequency might go down a little! ;^P
