We may be forced to take out the Iranian and/or North Korean Threat if both Houses are lost.

I'm gonna turn in.

  1. Real question is will a Democrat-controlled House and Senate allow "us" to attack Iran? They can make the Bush White House a lame-duck on foreign policy/the war reeeeal easy from their position after last night.

  2. If Bush 43 feels it necessary, it will be a fait accompli when he tells the legislators.

Maybe after the new leadership is installed, and they view certain classified info (hopefully not leaking it to the NY Times), they will be persuaded not to drop the ball.

I think I am too close to the election right now to think clearly.

  3. Charlie Rangel is already shouting today that they're going to block funding for the war. But you may be right. Oh to be a fly on the wall at the "lunch" he scheduled with Nancy Pelosi at the White House today (and some other House Democrats tomorrow). "Hello Mrs. Speaker. Do you mind if the CIA sits in on this lunch with us? They wanted to show you a few things."

  4. Don't be surprised if the attack is launched before the new Congress is seated.

  5. Depends on how the aforesaid meeting between Bush 43 and (Speaker Elect?) Pelosi.

    Other fun stuff to watch:

Can she keep the moonbats in the rafters?

Will McCain quit being a Drama Queen?

    Not likely.
