Wow , Austin Bay Agrees with me, well sorta...
This is for Newt Gingrich, and others who say WW IV? What the heck?
World War III was The Cold War, which was fought from 1947 until 1989.
The Main Stream Media was in bed with the Communists, so they refused to allow it to be reported as a Global War.
Before I go, Ann Coulter has released another Pearl of Wisdom.

I hope that you and the Austin Bay Blog and others are right and that somehow, someway, the Bush Admin is about to prosecute the war on terror “more vociferously” suddenly in his last two years. But I don't see it. I didn't see it before the election, and I definitely don't see it after this election (see my latest posts for why). I'm as skeptical as Batchelor at this point when Loftus swore, month after month (and in some cases year affter year) that we were about to "get tough" and go after Syria, Iran, or North Korea.I just don't see it. But who knows...
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of the B-Man, boy do we need him now more than ever. Heard any rumblings? I had hoped he would've announced some news about a new show by now.
It's probably just wishful thinking. The callers on the morning talk seem to think that Bush 43 will cozy right up to the Democrats, and get his comprehensive *amnesty* bill passed. That he will get along better with them. Yikes!!!
ReplyDeleteYou know, on Election Night, I was listening to the local returns on the radio, and at 9pk, I actually reached to turn on my XM Radio to hear what John Batchelor was going to say, what music he would select, who the guests would be, and what kind of parallels he would draw.
*Sighs*
Is it late fall yet? I just hope he will be on XM somewhere, or if not, there will be an internet stream that someone who averages 45kbps could receive without timing out, and buffering.
About the war, the democrats, I don't think anybody really knows just yet. I hope they make it easy for us next time by trying to call hearings, and going for an impeachment. But I think Billary (Bill & Hillary) will hold Nancy Pelosi and her friends back, bacause it would kill their chances of a third and fourth term in the White House.
Conyers, Dean, Biden, and others are all now saying to the cameras: "No impeachment." The DUers and Kos Kids must be fuming mad.
ReplyDeleteThe real question is, why? Did Bush make a deal with Pelosi? (Rummy and Amnesty for no impeachment hearings?) Did Bush remove who the Dems were really going to go after? (Rummy, who was disliked by both sides and stood a better chance of impeachment than the President himself)
I suspect it's a little of both. They don't have the 2/3 votes to convict Bush in the Senate even if they push through impeachment in the House. So unless they do to Bush what the GOP did to Clinton (impeachment but no conviction) I'm betting they were going to go after everyone else (Rumsfeld, Cheney, and smaller fish), and Rumsfeld's resignation perhaps tripped that up. Question is whether they give up Operation: Payback and work with Bush to get mutual stuff passed - or release the attack dogs on all those committees to trip the White House up every step of the way for the next two years? The Clintons could hold them back as you suggest, or let them go hog-wild so Hillary looks like a Saviour for the DNC by comparison. I guess time will tell....
It IS late fall. *sigh* Maybe John Batchelor is digging a bunker with Victor Davis Hanson and Loftus at an undisclosed location? :)
I kick myself I didn't record his shows on a more regular basis, nor go through the trouble to put ID3 tags on them...
ReplyDeleteI'm looking for a heads up around Thanks Giving. You know, he could do a special holiday podcast, and put it on iTunes for $1.99.
I'd buy it!
