GENERAL OUTLOOK

A cold front will drop south across our region tonight into early Saturday, bringing slightly cooler temperatures for the weekend into early next week. A return to well above normal temperatures appears likely toward the middle of next week ahead of the next front. 

PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE 

US-19 is closed (both lanes) near Euchella Branch Road in Swain County due to a diesel tanker fire. This is just north of Collins Gap. 
Please find an alternate route until after daylight.

.SATURDAY...Partly sunny. Highs around 70. Light and variable winds in the morning increasing to come out of the southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

.SUNDAY...Mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid 60s.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s.
