Skatepark Closed for Graffiti Removal

From the Town of Franklin:

SUNNYSIDE SKATEPARK CLOSED FOR CLEANING

The Town of Franklin is saddened to have to close the skatepark at Sunnyside for several days to remove the graffiti that was left on the skate surface. The park will remain closed until all of the graffiti can be removed, and the surface property cleaned and pressure washed. Cameras at the site are being reviewed to assist in identifying the individuals who have defaced this park that so many community members and skateboarders worked together to have built. If you have any information about this incident, you are encouraged to reach out to the Franklin Police Department at 828-524-2864.
