Due to an extended illness, Macon Media will be on light duty and will not be aggregating news links for a little bit. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. --Bobby

Dry high pressure will build into the area from the west over the weekend and linger into the early part of next week. Another cold front will arrive Tuesday, before stalling south of the area through the middle of next week.

A severe weather event took place yesterday afternoon and a liveblog was created to mirror content posted in real-time on Facebook by Macon Media and members of the community. [LINK]
