MCSO Initiates Investigation Regarding an Allegation on Social Media that a Deputy Used a Racial Slur in a Private Text Message

A Macon County Sheriff Deputy is under investigation regarding a racial slur that was reported to have occurred in a private message and then shared on social media (both Facebook and Twitter). 

A statement was posted on the MCSO Facebook Page (no press release was sent to Macon Media at the time of this writing) and it has been posted here.

March 2, 2021

This afternoon I was made aware that private communications (text messages) between two individuals was copied and posted to social media by an individual who was not a part of the original conversation. I was also made aware that one of the individuals allegedly involved in the private communication was a current member of the Macon County Sheriff’s Office.

At the time of this statement, I have not received any official complaints regarding this incident. I have also not received a complaint from the person involved in the private communication that has now been posted to social media.

Based on information that was made available to me this afternoon, I have requested an official review into the incident. That investigation has already been initiated.

This is a personnel matter of the MCSO and as such, I am limited to what information can be released at this time. Having said that, no further information will be released until it is deemed appropriate and only after a complete and thorough investigation has been conducted.

The NC General assembly will take up redistricting when they meet again in July. A public hearing has been scheduled on districts drawn up so that there will be a majority or near majority of black voters on June 23, 2011. The details are below:

Name Change Coming for Annual Vance-Aycock Dinner Aycock's Name to be "Retired with Honor" by Democrats

After three years of lying low, the Democrats are finally taking the advice of the Carolina Stompers [their website is currently down it's back up now], and doing away with the name Aycock from their annual dinner at the exclusive Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. I notice that they're not doing anything regarding honoring the North Carolina Confederate Governor, Zebulon Vance, who was also a racist. Here is an excerpt of a speech he gave in 1890 while serving in the US Senate:

In this great struggle to escape Negro rule and restore our State governments to the control of those who made them, and whose ancestors had established their principles in their blood, we had both the aid and the sympathy of Northern Democrats everywhere. We had neither from you. [source]

As far as I know, Richard and I are the only two people to ever provide extensive video coverage of the exclusive fundraiser. I would go and do this every year, but Asheville is a bit far for me to travel on a lark.


In an effort to downplay Governor Aycock's blatant racism, Democrats have tried to say that they have honored him for his educational reforms. Really? Either they are completely ignorant of the types of educational reforms he supported, and his thinking behind them, or they support them. 


To make sure that to honor him for his educational reforms is still honoring his racism, here is the thinking behind North Carolina Governor Charles Brantley Aycock's educational reforms in the early 20th Century from a book I have on the subject:

In 1900, North Carolina's public education for both races was among the poorest in the nation. Democrat Charles B. Aycock, a racist educational reformer, was elected governor that year. He believed that the primary reason for improving education was to train white voters. Uncharacteristically, from 1895 through 1898 Fusionists - agrarian Populists (many former democrats) and Republicans (many of them african Americans) - had controlled state government. In 1900, Democrats used the Fusion period to justify white supremacy and African American disenfranchisement as safeguards against "Negro domination." It is no wonder, then, that Aycock, whose view on education for African Americans was limited, was chosen to rescue the state. He and other educational liberals cleverly used the race question despite opposition to their centralizing educational tendencies from white rural fundamentalists and blacks who recognized the inequities of public education. A related issue was the state's need to educate a cheap, docile, but effective African American labor force. Yet the political threat of African American voters was the center of the white supremacy campaign behind the school reform movement around 1900.

The Hold that Predefined Narratives have over the Minds of Leftists

The incident between Officer James Crowley and Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr demonstrates just what a powerful grip fictional narratives have on the minds of leftists. All the leftists in the country, from the President on down, fervently believe that Crowley acted out of racial animosity but they can’t explain what action of Crowley’s indicates his racial animosity. Instead, they must rely on a narrative shared by the subculture to convince each other that Crowley must be wrong.

Leftists are clearly caught up in two narratives. First, they have the narrative of black man versus white cop. In this narrative, one need only plug the race and role of each person into the narrative and the narrative will tell them who was absolutely wrong and who was absolutely right. Since Crowley was the white cop, the narratives says he acted wrongly. Case closed.

The second narrative is the hindsight narrative. This is a narrative in which the actions of participants in an event are explained in terms of information known in hindsight, not the information each participant had at the time. In hindsight, we all know that Gates was a legal resident in his home and that the report of break-in was a false alarm. With that information, the hindsight narrative creates a story in which Crowley is clearly a bully harassing an old man for illegitimate reasons.

We can dismiss the first narrative outright because it is simply racist. We should always evaluate individuals based on their own actions not on our arbitrary inclusion of them in some stereotyped group. The second narrative falls apart when we look at the sequence of events and examine the actions of both Gates and Crowley based on the information each had on hand at the time.

It never enters the minds of most lefties that the facts could be other than what they have had drilled into them day after day, year after year in public schools and from their political leaders.

Part of my definition of what a Lefty is involves anyone who operates with a predefined narrative that automatically casts people in certain roles of good guy or bad guy based on race, ethnicity or role they have in society. That's why I classify most Ron Paul supporters as Lefties because they operate with predefined narratives as well, many of them indistinguishable from ones used by Lefties in the Democrat Party.

A couple or incidents in the Lefty Freakshow that is Asheville, NC follow this perfectly.

The 1st incident was the case of a person who had a belligerent encounter with the police when they checked out why an upside down flag was flying over their house (a universal sign of distress) and the people inside acted just like Gates did, even going a step further an getting into a scuffle with the police. All the usual Lefties and Ron Paul Lefties bought the story based on the narrative that the police are always wrong, and looking to violate citizens privacy or whatever Constitutional Right is on the boiler plate for the day. Lefties are always the first to tell us that they are kind, tolerant and somehow better than people they view as "un-evolved" on matters are dear to them. No injuries have been reported. According to Cambridge Fire Chief Gerald Reardon, the fire, which was fought with 22 engines, seven ladder companies, and about 80 firefighters, was brought under control sometime after noon. Rep. Laura Richardson (D-Ca.) said Castro was receptive to President Obama’s message of turning the page in American foreign policy. 

"He listened. He said the exact same thing" about turning the page "as President Obama said," said Richardson.

Richardson said Castro knew her name and district. "He looked right into my eyes and he said, 'How can we help? How can we help President Obama?'"

Although we were a lot less than those Pali terrorists we made a stand for a while before being overrun by the Pali terrorists and Toronto Police did absolutely nothing. They were overwhelmed by the number of the terrorists.

Earlier this month, Fisher announced her support for South Carolina chairman Katon Dawson in his bid for the head of the national party, despite a controversy over his membership in a country club that doesn't admit blacks.

Now she has criticized another candidate for the top post, Chip Saltsman, for distributing a CD as a Christmas gift that included a song by Rush Limbaugh called "Barack the Magic Negro."

"Racist actions and deeds have no place in the party," she wrote in an open letter to Saltsman. "The lack of sensitivity in understanding the historical election we just had and the challenges this nation faces as we must bind our wounds as well as bring our people together requires that we set aside our biases and search out those constitutional principles inherent in our nation's foundings and our parties operation which must undergrid us as we move forward."

I think that Dr. Fisher has revealed far more about her limited worldview than she thought she was exposing. 

Perhaps she does not realize that the whole "Barack the Magic Negro" got it's start in a LA Times piece by a radical lefty. Then, Paul Shanklin did a parody song about it, and Rush Limbaugh has used it ever since.

I think that Dr. Ada Fisher should not drink the racist PC Kool Aid and think a little for her self instead of going around calling people racist in a knee-jerk reaction. Shame on her for joining the lefty attack on Chip Saltsman!!!

Obama, can you spare blacks a proclamation?

The National Black Republican Association has issued a petition to Barack Hussein Obama, the leader of the Democratic Party, requesting that Obama issue a formal proclamation of apology for the Democratic Party's 150-year history of racism.
We recognize that this is likely too much to ask of the oh so "racially sensitive" Democrats who want us to ignore their racist past and failed socialism that have caused so much harm to black Americans. So we will not hold our breath waiting for their response.

Petition to Barack Hussein Obama for a Proclamation of Apology for the Democratic Party's 150-year History of Racism

We, black American citizens of the United States and the National Black Republican Association, declare and assert:

WHEREAS, the healing of wounds begins with an apology, and the Democratic Party has never apologized for their horrific atrocities and racist practices against black Americans during the past 150 years, nor held accountable for the residual impact that those atrocities and practices are having on us today,

WHEREAS, as a result of the 1898 Wilmington Race Riot Commission Report of May 31, 2006, the North Carolina Democratic Party issued a unanimous apology on January 20, 2007 for the Democratic Party's 1898 murderous rampage against blacks,

WHEREAS, inner-city minister Rev. Wayne Perryman wrote a book, "Unfounded Loyalty: An In-depth Look Into The Love Affair Between Blacks and Democrats", and filed a lawsuit against the Democratic Party on December 10, 2004, but, after admitting their history of racism under oath in court, the Democrats refused to apologize,

WHEREAS, history shows that the Democratic Party through its racist agenda and "States' Rights" claim to own slaves, sought to protect and preserve the institution of slavery from 1792 to 1865, thus enslaving millions of African Americans, while the Republican Party was started in 1854 as the anti-slavery party, fought to free blacks from slavery and championed civil rights for blacks...[Read the rest]
