GENERAL OUTLOOK

Drier air and low chances of thunderstorms will persist through mid- week. Southerly return flow around offshore high pressure will bring about a gradual increase in moisture and associated shower and thunderstorm chances, especially over the mountains through the weekend. Temperatures and humidity will increase through the week and likely peak over the weekend. A weak cold front should be getting close to our region from the north by early next week.
