GENERAL OUTLOOK

Noticeably cooler weather will continue through early next week with the coldest day expected on Monday with temperatures 10-15 degrees below average. Showers are expected across the mountains through Monday with light snow possible in the highest elevations of the Smokies. Temperatures begin to gradually warm Tuesday into late week, but will remain slightly below average. Another cold front approaches the area Friday bringing a return of rain chances.
