HAZARDOUS WEATHER
Slow-moving thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall may recur at times today and Saturday. A localized flash flood threat will persist in the areas described below, being increasingly likely in locations that receive multiple rounds of heavy rainfall over the three-day period.
Conditions will be favorable for slow-moving thunderstorms producing heavy rain this afternoon and tonight, which may cause isolated flash flooding. Areas of particular concern include the foothills of the Carolinas and Georgia near the Blue Ridge Escarpment, and in the urban corridor of western Upstate South Carolina, including Clemson, Greenville, and Spartanburg.
