They've stood between the innocent and evil.
They've defended us from those who would do us harm.
They've put our wellbeing above their own.

This Veterans Day, remember to thank the servicemembers for all they have given to protect and preserve our freedom.

Weather Hazards

There is a chance of a wintry mix of precipitation overnight tonight into tomorrow morning. The temperatures will be near freezing, so this thing could be an all-rain event or a mix. Please be careful tomorrow morning and make plans to either delay morning errands or leave early to account for potentially slick roadways.

A strong cold front will cross the area Tuesday morning. Very cold air pouring in behind the front Tuesday night will push temperatures down close to record lows, ranging from the upper teens to the mid-20s. These temperatures combined with blustery winds will bring wind chills down into the teens early Wednesday morning.

**Note** A Tropical Weather Outlook section has been added to the daily weather briefing for the Atlantic Hurricane Season, and since those tend to run long when there is activity, that section has been added between the daily forecasts for the four regions of the county and the almanac section so people can get to their daily forecasts with minimal interference.
