COVID-19 Numbers for Macon County: [October 18, 2021]
A tractor-trailer is reported to have rolled over on its side on US-441 near the top of Cowee Mountain just before 2am this morning and as of 4:30am, traffic was still congested in the area, so if you have business that required you to travel over the mountain this morning, you may want to leave early so you won't be late.
