Weather Briefing for Sunday, October 3, 2021

Here is a truncated weather report for today.

  OUTLOOK

A cold front will approach the area Sunday and settle over the region Monday into Tuesday, bringing a prolonged period of widespread shower activity. High pressure centered over New England will extend down into our region Wednesday through Friday as an upper-level low persists to our west. The pattern will support a continued fetch of Atlantic moisture into the area and keep shower chances in place into next Saturday, when the upper-low finally starts to weaken.
