A cold front will steadily dissipate across the piedmont through the end of the week. Typical July conditions are otherwise expected for much of the next seven days, with mainly scattered diurnal showers and storms and near-normal temperatures. The approach of another weak cold front may briefly enhance shower and thunderstorm chances on Monday.
