. Power utility crews are continuing to work to repair and replace downed lines and poles in the areas that have been impacted by the recent storms. Duke Energy has almost finished the task in Macon County and will move to assist other counties who still have thousands of customers without electrical service. A little over 1,200 Haywood EMC customers in Macon County are without service this morning.
