(remember that a power utility customer may include a household with multiple people, the actual number of people w/o power is higher)
. Power utility crews are contiung to work to repair and replace downed lines and poles in the areas that have been impacted by the recent storms. Duke Energy have finished their task in Macon County and will move to assist other counties who still have thousands of customers without electrical service. A little over 600 Haywood EMC customers in Macon County are without service this morning.
