A moist cold front will stall along the Carolina Coast this weekend, keeping unsettled weather around. A tropical system will likely impact the area early next week but confidence remains low at this time with regards to specific impacts. High temperatures will remain near normal through the weekend before dropping below normal early next week.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected through this evening as a cold front stalls over the area. The main hazard will be localized nuisance to minor flooding from heavy downpours.

Depending on its exact motion and track, Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine could bring impacts such as heavy rainfall and gusty winds Monday into late Tuesday across the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia. The heavy rainfall threat may linger later into next week but confidence is low at this time.
