Sunny skies with increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs ranging from the upper 40s at the higher elevations to the mid-50s in the lower elevations. Light winds out of the south increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Cloudy with areas of fog overnight. Lows ranging from the mid-30s at the higher elevations to near 40 in the lower elevations. Winds out of the southeast calming before midnight. 10% chance of rain at 6 pm and 80% chance of rain after 3 am. Rainfall amounts between a tenth of an inch and a quarter of an inch expected.

Cloudy and rainy with highs in the 50s. Calm winds. Rainfall amounts between a quarter and half in inch expected.

..SATURDAY...Heavy rain possible. Periods of moderate to heavy rain are expected across the mountains beginning Saturday morning and continuing through the day. Localized flooding issues could develop by Saturday evening, especially across southwest North Carolina.

..SUNDAY...Heavy rain with flooding possible. As periods of moderate to heavy rainfall continue through the weekend, the potential for at least localized flooding will increase early Sunday and continue through the day. Total rainfall amounts of up to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts will be possible, especially across southwest North Carolina.
