But then something changed. It all starts with a conversation at a dinner table in Germany. One lunch time, a father calmly told his family that they would no longer be attending the synagogue at which they were members; instead they would be attending church, because it would be better for business. Sat around that same table was a boy named Karl Marx. His father's words cut him to the bone, and as a result he simultaneously developed a hatred for Western religion/morality as well as Western business practises (capitalism). In other words, he acquired a desire to cut down two very important trees as a result of a single conversation. Later in his life, he and his associate Friedrich Engels would write The Communist Manifesto, which would be the spring board from which future anti-Western political groups would spring into attacks, axes bared as they advanced on our trees...
