Strong Thunderstorm to impact southern Macon County

The strong sector of this storm has exited Macon County.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL RABUN... SOUTHEASTERN MACON... SOUTHWESTERN TRANSYLVANIA AND SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM EDT...
At 448 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles south of Franklin, or near Dillard, moving northeast at 50 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Highlands, Mountain City, Rosman, Dillard, Sky Valley, Cashiers, Lake
Toxaway, Lake Glenville, B.R. Parkway-Balsam Gap To Black Balsam Area
and Gorges State Park.
Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail will be possible in these areas.
