SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS


There is no school in all districts in Macon and Jackson Counties today. It is an option teacher workday.

Outlook

Precipitation is expected to finally end tonight as the atmosphere finally dries out. Cool high pressure will overspread the region on Tuesday and linger into Thursday before another low-pressure system develops to our west and brings more widespread precipitation to the region by the end of the week.

A chance of snow before 10am, then a chance of rain and snow between 10am and 11am, then a chance of rain after 11am. Patchy fog possible for most of the day, especially in the morning and late afternoon hours. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 40. Calm winds. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch expected.

Tonight

A 20 percent chance of snow before 11pm. Patchy fog before 8pm. Patchy freezing fog after 8pm. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a near the low-to-mid 20s. Light winds out of the northwest.
