Outlook

A cold front bringing showers and thunderstorms to the region will approach from the west today and stall across the area on Saturday. A second stronger system will bring storms to the area on Sunday and Sunday night.

Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected this weekend. An isolated severe thunderstorm is possible today or Saturday, with more widespread severe weather possible Sunday. Heavy rain eventually may lead to isolated flash flooding, especially in areas hit by multiple rounds of thunderstorms over the next few days.
