Daily Weather Briefing for Thursday, July 4, 2019
Independence Day Plus 243 Years!

Happy Independence Day!!!

Today is the day our republic celebrates its independence from Great Britain. Read more about how that happened and to read the text of the Lee Resolution and the Declaration of Independence, visit the Macon Media website. [LINK]

Outlook

An upper-level ridge will weaken late this week over the Eastern part of the nation as a broad trough sets up. This will result in slightly cooler weather and increasing chances for widespread afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
