Daily Weather Briefing for Sunday, March 8, 2020

Outlook

Sprawling high pressure over our region today will move off the east coast tonight and Monday. A cold front will approach from the west Monday night through Tuesday and then stall across the region for the better part of the week. Several weak low-pressure centers moving along this boundary will keep the weather unsettled through the late week.

Local Congressman Named President's Chief of Staff

Mark Meadows has been named to become President Trump's fourth Chief of Staff in 38 months. There has been no announcement who, if anyone, will serve out the remainder of his term. If a special election is held, it may wait until November due to the expense of calling a stand-alone special election. [LINK]
