A runoff election will take place today. This election is for the 11th Congressional District with one race on the ballot: Lynda Bennett and Madison Cawthorn.
Voting locations have changed for this election as follows:
Voters for Franklin area will vote at the Robert Carpenter Building located at 1288 Georgia Road, Franklin, NC 28734. This includes these precincts: North Franklin, South Franklin, East Franklin, Union, Smithbridge, Cartoogechaye, Iotla, Cowee, Millshoal, Sugarfork, Cullasaja, and Ellijay.
Voters in the Highlands and Scaly Mountain area will vote at the Highlands Civic Center located at 600 N. 4th Street, Highlands, NC 28741. This includes the Highlands and Flats precincts.
The voters in the Nantahala area will vote at the EMS building located at 1096 Junaluska Road, Topton, NC 28781. This includes the Nantahala precinct.
Hours for Election Day, Tuesday, June 23rd 6:30am-7:30pm
