Dave Linn is at Speakers Corner at the side of the Macon County Courthouse along Iotla Street this morning raising money for the Greenville Shriners Hospital for Children.
Linn says he has been raising money through the 80s Flashback-themed events for the past six years. Raffle tickets are being sold this morning 6 for $5 and 13 for $10.
He uses the 80s-themed events as a way to remember and relive the culture and events of his childhood in the 1980s.
