Weather Briefing for Friday, July 26, 2024

Here is the news and weather briefing for Macon County.

GENERAL OUTLOOK

Another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected today as a frontal boundary continues to meander over the area. Drier and slightly cooler air will push into the area from the northeast over the weekend, which will reduce shower and thunderstorm chances, especially over the eastern part of the area. Normal mid-summer weather is expected to return early next week.
