GENERAL OUTLOOK

A cold front is expected to bring scattered to numerous thunderstorms to the region this the weekend with a few possibly becoming strong to severe, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Unsettled weather will stick around through the middle of next week.

..SATURDAY...Partly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. Winds out of the west 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected today and Saturday. Some of these storms may become severe with damaging winds the main threat, but some large hail is also possible. Unsettled weather continues into the middle of next week, but the severe storm potential is more uncertain at this time.
