The active summertime weather will continue thru the end of the week and into the weekend with scattered to numerous showers and thunder-storms each day. Temperatures will increase again over the weekend and early next week as an upper ridge amplifies.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening as well as on Friday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts will be the the main hazard with any severe storms that develop. Heavy rainfall may lead to isolated areas of flash flooding, particularly in urban areas as well as poor drainage and low-lying areas.
