Weather Briefing for Sunday, July 20, 2025

GENERAL OUTLOOK

Hot and humid summertime weather will persist today and Monday, with daily afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm chances. A few storms could produce damaging wind gusts and localized flash flooding each day. A weak cold front slowly crosses the area Monday night into Tuesday. Behind that front, high pressure to the north could bring temperatures closer to normal for the middle part of the week.

Daily chances for storms will continue into early next week, with some storms capable of producing strong wind gusts and localized flooding. Areas that have received excessive rainfall over the past few days will continue to be at risk for flash flooding through at least this evening.
