**Important Update posted at bottom...scroll down to see.**
I first heard about Tom Cryer earlier this week when a caller to the Quinn & Rose Show mentioned it to the substitute host.
Then, this morning, Mike (penzac?) interviewed the guy for an hour. After all the commercials and traffic reports and bumper music have been edited out...it runs a little over 25 minutes. Oh, and I missed recording the first few minutes of the interview while trying to get to a computer.
He has a website called Lie Free Zone, and referenced another called Truth Attack.
And here is a Newsbusters article on the guy:
Well boys and girls, for those of you who would like to challenge that we have to pay an income tax, Lawyer Tom Cryer was just acquitted on 2 counts of tax fraud, and one being not paying his income tax.
Quite simply, he proved that the definition of Income as defined by the supreme court is NOT income from our labor, but rather things like interest and profit. You CANNOT tax a persons labor because it is a God given right that we may work to support ourselves.
Other places the case is discussed:
Free Republic
World Net Daily
SCOTUS has yet to post the info.
The guy is also on You Tube discussing his batle with the IRS over Income Taxes.
Update-- I also posted some of this info in a forum, and was directed to Quatloos, " a public educational website covering a wide variety of financial scams and frauds, including wacky “prime bank” frauds, exotic foreign currency scams, offshore investment frauds, tax scams, “Pure Trust” structures and more..."
I guess I got suckered in by this...Cryer case.
A Big Tip of the Hat goes to RR.

I haven't paid income tax since the 80s, but I do pay taxes on my profits from stocks, and when I sold properties for profit.
Before I started working for myself, employers would go nuts when I would refuse to even sign the W-4 or NC-4...there is nothing they can do about it.
The IRS is stealing billions of dollars every year from citizens and from the economy!!!
Hey John!
Turn on your Skype, I need to talk to you.
SQUAT-LOOS, at best is littered with 'street grade' IRS pawns or at worst an IRS sympathizer with his hopes and career dangling at the end of a Form 1040 filing business.
The thing that you may decide to review is the Squatlooser's mission statement you'd briefly quoted...
Keep in mind as you read the 'mission' that Mr. Cryer was not charged with any of the offenses listed. Of course, Mr. Cryer was not engaged in any illicit activity whatsoever.
What Mr. Cryer did do however, was delivered a very detailed explanation of the Internal Revenue Code... U.S. Supreme Court cases and pertinent citations from the Code of Federal Reglations as those citations applied to the federal taxing authority...
Guess what?
Mr. Cryer, a seasoned legal expert, carefully and simply showed 12 of his peers that he was not liable for the federal income tax... and with a 12-0 not guilty knock-out blow to the fed-thugs, no one misunderstood the TRUTH coming from the witness stand.
Thank you for posting the info on Mr. Cryer's case!
