The Franklin Tourism Development Authority met last night at 5.30pm in the Town Hall. The TDA tabled all funding requests/decisions until the April meeting, except agreeing to fund Tony Angel Media on a month to month basis until the start of the next fiscal year, then they would agree to an annual contract. The board voted to recommend Cheryl Pullium to the Franklin Aldermen as an acceptable person to fill one of the three vacancies on the TDA Board.
The TDA Room Occupancy Tax Report showed that $3,724.12 was collected for the month of January 2013. Collections for this fiscal year to date were listed as follows:

The Franklin TDA Board will be having a retreat to create a strategic marketing plan on March 20, 2013 at 5.30pm in the lower meeting room of the town hall. Their next regular meeting will be on April 8, 2013 at 5.30 pm in the same location.
