Weather conditions have caused a little over 500 Duke Energy customers to be without electrical service this morning. Duke Energy crews are working to restore service as soon as they can. Haywood EMC is not reporting any outages in the county at this time (9:45 am).
Otto Community Outage Information
In the biggest outage, over 400 Duke Energy customers are without service in the Coweetal Lab Road area. Duke estimates a time of restoration between 1 pm and 3 pm this afternoon. A map of the impacted area will be added when it becomes available.

Highlands Community Outage Information
Lightning has caused an outage in the Highlands area that has impacted 43 Duke Energy customers. A crew is on the scene and restoration is expected by 11:30 am this morning.
