May 15, 2018 Budget Work Session

The Macon County Board of Commissioners met this afternoon for a budget work session. Most of the meeting was consumed by the budget presentation by Derek Roland, the county manager. A copy of the budget message and budget will be added to this article as soon as it becomes available.


A donor supporting the Haywood County 2nd Amendment Rally is underwriting the daily weather briefing and public safety updates for today. The rally will be taking place on Saturday, May 19th from 11 am to 4 pm at the Haywood County Courthouse located at 215 North Main Street in Waynesville, NC.
