GENERAL OUTLOOK

Widespread heavy rain will taper off after daybreak today, allowing drier and warmer conditions to return this afternoon and Friday. Another strong storm system will arrive Friday night and bring more widespread rain to the area through early Sunday, before drier and cooler weather arrives early next week.
