GENERAL OUTLOOK
Light rain, cooler temperatures, and the potential for a light glaze of ice along the Blue Ridge escarpment today. A stronger storm system pushes across the area early Sunday with showers and possible thunderstorms. Cold and dry weather returns early next week. Another system could cross the area by middle of the week with a chance for wintry weather.
