GENERAL OUTLOOK

A cold front crosses the area today with a chance of rain for mainly the mountains. Dry high pressure returns Wednesday and slowly slides eastward through Saturday, resulting in continuing fire weather issues. A weak cold front crosses the area Sunday with a stronger front for Monday, bringing rainfall potential both days.

GENERAL FORECAST

.TODAY...Sunny, breezy with highs in the mid 60s. Winds out of the west 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 35 mph, increasing to 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph this afternoon.
..TONIGHT...Mostly clear and breezy. Lows in the upper 30s. Einds out of the northwest 15 to 20 mph, diminishing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Gusts up to 40 mph.
..WEDNESDAY...Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. Winds out of the northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
..WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 30s. Winds out of the northwest 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph in the evening.
..THURSDAY...Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Winds out of the northwest around 5 mph.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER

Fire danger will increase this afternoon as the relative humidty will drop below 30% and there will be high winds. Outdoor will not only be dangerous, it remians illegal as the burn ban is still in effect. The combination of low relative humidity and drier fuels will increase fire danger through Saturday.
