The North Carolina General Assembly will convene today in accordance with the Adjournment Resolution here is the schedule for today. The only committee meeting today is the Joint Legislative Program Evaluation Oversight Committee (I have more on that meeting below the calendar), and sessions of the NC Senate and the NC House are currently scheduled for noon today. They are expected to begin the process of overriding some of the bills that the Governor has vetoed while they were adjourned. Those bills are:

- Governor Perdue vetoed House Bill 854, Abortion-Woman's Right to Know Act, on Monday, 06/27/2011.
- Governor Perdue vetoed Senate Bill 33, Medical Liability Reforms, on Friday, 06/24/2011.
- Governor Perdue vetoed House Bill 351, Restore Confidence in Government, on Thursday, 06/23/2011.
- Governor Perdue vetoed Senate Bill 727, No Dues Checkoff for School Employees, on Saturday, 06/18/2011.
