Fire Apparatus Parade and Folk Festival Street Closures

Be aware that the Franklin Folk Festival is happening today in downtown Franklin. There is also a parade that starts at 9am.

FIRE APPARATUS PARADE ROUTE

I have included a map of the parade route that will be used by several fire trucks in a parade that is scheduled to begin at 9am this morning to kick off the Franklin Folk Festival.

If you aren't planning on watching the parade and will be driving in town during this time, please plan an alternate route to your destination for the 30 minutes or so it will take these apparatus to complete their route, which starts near the Franklin Fire Department on Maple Street and ends on Main Street near the Macon Bank.

FOLK FESTIVAL STREET CLOSURES

Parts of Iotla and Phillips Street will be closed during the festival and Main Street will be closed from the foot of Town Hill to Harrison Avenue.
