Update on the Franklin Comprehensive Land Use Plan

Justin Setser, Land Use Administrator for the Town of Franklin, updated the Mayor and town council on the Comprehensive Land use Plan that has been under development. More information about the process can be found on the Franklin Town Plan website. [LINK]

Here is a timeline of the approval process from a slide Setser presented:

Plan Process

Draft of Plan - Complete
Steering Committee Review - Ongoing
Planning Board review - February 17th meeting
• Changes - After Planning Board Review

Public Review/Presentation or Open House - March
• Changes - Based on public feedback

Adoption - March - May
• March 16th - Planning Board
• April 6th - Town Council (Presentation and Public Hearing)
• May - Adoption by Town Council
