GENERAL OUTLOOK
A low pressure system will cross the area today, bringing a round of rain with some wintry precipitation in the high elevations. The low moves off the mid Atlantic coast late in the day, as cold and dry high pressure builds in Tuesday through Thursday. An area of low pressure may form along the Gulf Coast late in the week, which could bring some moisture into the region from late Friday into next weekend.
