A cold front moves off the Carolina coast by this evening with colder high pressure crossing the plains states toward the Carolinas. Expect gusty winds tonight with light snow along the Tennessee border. Cooler and drier weather returns the rest of the week for most locations, with well below normal temperatures returning by the weekend.
