Ever on the lookout for an opportunity to test my new camera in a lightning storm...here is probably my next best chance for a little while...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST GEORGIA...PIEDMONT NORTH CAROLINA...WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE WESTERN
CAROLINAS AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING.
A FEW OF THESE STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE...PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. THE GREATEST CHANCE FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL BE ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 85.
