OUTLOOK
The remnants of Eta and the associated moisture will continue to move away over the western Atlantic through the morning hours. Drier air and surface high pressure will gradually spill into the region from the northwest through the early part of the weekend. A cold front will approach from the west for the latter half of the weekend, with a modest increase in rain chances Sunday, especially over the mountains. Drier and cooler air will settle across the area by Monday and persist throughout the week.
