Franklin Power Plant

It has rained more or less the last 5 or so days, and this past weekend saw heavy rain in Macon County and throughout western North Carolina, and I wandered down to the Power Plant on the Little Tennessee River in Franklin and this is a brief video I shot while down there...

Counties now included in the warning are: Macon, Transylvania, western Henderson, Swain, Haywood, Buncombe, Madison and Jackson. The warning is set to expire at 5:30 p.m.

A flood warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported. Stream rises will be slow and flash flooding is not expected, the weather service said.

Steady rain will continue today, threatening more floods across WNC. And the weekend will likely go down as one of the soggiest of the year.
