I attended an open mic type of event in Sylva on Sunday that gave any one who wanted an opportunity to voice their concerns or support of health care legislation currently before Congress.
Congressman Heath Shuler, Senator Richard Burr and Senator Kay Hagan were invited to attend, but none of them showed up. Senator Burr's office was the only one to acknowledge receipt of the invitation. Shuler and Hagan's office never replied back to the event organizers.
Here is the event:
I will have a highlights reel up sometime this weekend.

ps. Link Exchange?
tea baggers really aren't there to voice concern but to cause trouble. they complain about the government intruding upon their health care and cry socialism but they will happily sign up for government run medicaid and medicare, such hypocrisy.
