Perceptions of Reality

Lefties are fond of trying to sell the public a grossly distorted perception of reality in their attempt to steer our society in the direction they want to it to proceed...toward socialism and total government control over every aspect of your life, what you eat, what you wear, and even what type of toilet paper you can use.

In just one tiny arena of this conflict they wage against reality is who is perceived as popular and who is not, especially when it comes to one of their darlings...Keith Olbermann.

Ask any Lefty, or any one off the street, who has the most viewers, Countdown with Keith Olbermann or The Glenn Beck TV Show...and I'd be willing to bet you the majority would say Keith Olbermann.

Why is that?

Take a look at the way those in the media portray Keith Olbermann. He is presented (marketed, really) by them as a happening guy and always in a positive light.

Contrast that with the way Glenn Beck is portrayed. As a crazy, out of control, even dangerous man who is manipulating his viewers.

This is part of a technique designed to give people a false perception of reality. If they can convince enough people that it is so, eventually it may become so...and on the occasion when it doesn't, it is viewed as an unexplainable phenomena, or as the result of unfair manipulation.

Here are the ratings for 5pm from Wednesday, when Glenn Beck is on the air:

5PM – P2+ (25-54) (35-64)
Glenn Beck– 2,874,000 viewers (728,000) (1,258,000)
Situation Room—790,000 viewers (224,000) (283,000)
Hardball w/ Chris Matthews—450,000 viewers (104,000) (230,000)
Fast Money—219,000 viewers (59,000) (111,000)
Prime News–314,000 viewers (107,000) (193,000)

and here are the numbers from 8pm (Prime Time) when Keith Olbermann is on from the same day:

8PM – P2+ (25-54) (35-64)
The O’Reilly Factor– 3,536,000 viewers (934,000) (1,544,000)
Campbell Brown – 671,000 viewers (253,000) (331,000)
Countdown w/ K. Olbermann – 904,000 viewers (331,000) (478,000)
Marijuana Inc. – 415,000 viewers (209,000) (194,000)
Nancy Grace – 957,000 viewers (358,000) (526,000)

See what I mean? Even Bill O'Reilly destroys  Keith Olbermann by a 3 to 1 margin in the time slot they share! Even in the coveted 25-54 age bracket, Olbermann is beaten handily by BOTH Beck and O'Reilly.

Remember this the next time you are bombarded by Lefties (or the Propaganda Arm of the Left...the Media) who are trying to sell you a false perception of reality.
