Upon the passage of the Porkulus Bill, Lefty Betsy Muse blogs:
I turned on the television in time to see Barack Obama handed a slip of paper. Apparently, it was a note telling him the stimulus bill had passed in the Senate. When he announced this to the crowd in Ft. Meyer's, Florida, the crowd came to its feet. Obama was quite obviously pleased and said several times, "This is a good thing."

From the Washington Times:
The Senate approved a $838 billion economic stimulus Tuesday, hurrying the bill into negotiations with the House to finalize a package that can pass both chambers by President Obama's Friday deadline.
The Senate bill passed in a lopsided 61-37 vote, with just three Republicans joining 56 Democrats and two independents in supporting the measure.
The same three Republicans who helped pass the measure - Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia J. Snowe of Maine and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania - were key to getting the bill through the chamber by providing the three-fifths supermajority Monday needed to push the bill to a final vote.
Most Republican say the bill is rife with scattershot spending that will create permanent new government programs, won't help the beleaguered U.S. economy and risks undercutting a recovery by driving up federal debt.
Mr. Obama, who has taken to the road this week to boost support for the rescue plan, hailed the Senate vote but cautioned it was only "a good start."

And the conference Conference Committee members from the Senate have been chosen, and Senatus tells us who they are and why it this is important.
Does anyone wish to make a wager on how much larger the resulting bill will be?
THE THREE MOST UNWANTED REPUBLICANS

There are three people that need to be primaried-out when their next election comes due, and we need to bus people into these states to support their Republican opponents.
Here is an interesting website called Read the Stimulus that has a searchable text of the bill.
